I’m really enjoying this trend of adding USB-C charging both ways. I know it requires extra circuitry, but it’s a fantastic feature—especially for those of us on the go who sometimes realize too late, "Wait, I didn’t charge my phone!" We've all been there, missing an important call because we’re focused on packing up gear for an event or a shoot. I’ve arrived on location more than once with only 20% left on my phone. Thankfully, I usually have multiple charging options with me since I use at least one of my iPhones during shoots, but having a battery like this one on hand really eases my mind. There have been a few occasions where I had the cable but not the battery, so having this as a backup is invaluable.I also often bring NP batteries to larger shoots to power my lighting and monitors, and in testing this battery, I was thrilled to find that it can be charged with PD power input. Too many devices I use can’t charge with PD, like my electronic dusters (turbo fans for removing dirt without the chemicals in canned air) and other equipment that’s sensitive to higher power. It’s fantastic that they’ve future-proofed this battery with PD compatibility. The clear, top-mounted battery indicator is a standout feature; it’s bright enough to be seen almost from across the room, so you always know where it’s at. I used this with a new Godox light, and it performed beautifully. Unfortunately, my other battery didn’t have the charge to keep up, so the light shut off—lesson learned! I’ll need to remember to pack more batteries next time. This battery does have some weight to it, which I’m hoping means it has beefier, more durable cells. I haven’t used it long enough to fully drain it yet, so I’ll find out more soon. I’m hopeful this will be one of my more reliable, robust batteries. Here’s to this company continuing to innovate in the battery space—it could really use some disruption, as most batteries out there feel a bit cookie-cutter these days. The NP-style format has been around for ages, and I hope to see it continue, especially with the additions this company has made to its design.I also have V-mount batteries for longer shoots and I have retired my old Anton Bauer batteries (though I do miss them a bit!). But as long as companies keep innovating, I’m confident these tried-and-true designs will stay relevant and keep us powered up well into the future!

i ordered this for a mono light i like to use for run and gun shooting. So far it has been great. Off the top i love that you can see how much charge you have,i don't have to guess anymore. Next is the ability to charge with a usb or a usb—c so if i am running low on juice i can just hook up the old power bank and keep shooting. The only knock i have is it took two weeks to get delivered. i gave this 5 stars because i feel that the battery is great and the delivery was on the seller.
