As other reviews have mentioned, the lines running across the roll are not spaced at an inch, so it's not for precise work. It is fairly light paper, maybe a tiny bit thicker than wrapping paper, so I'm concerned about markers bleeding through to the table. It's still the best deal for art or Dungeons and Dragons maps. I use vinyl sheet from the fabric store with this for bargain-basement wet-erase.

Perfect for disposable battle maps (for Dungeons and Dragons). As others have pointed out, these are not accurate; as in not exactly 1”x1”. If that was something you were relying on, perhaps consider another product. In my experience they have worked perfectly. Not quick to tear or crease and works well with pen, pencil, or marker.

Bought this for homemade pattern making. I love the grid markings! Love the big fat roll. Paper is more durable than typical brown pattern paper. I wanted durability over sheerness. So glad I bought this instead of paper pack from fabric store.

If you're looking for single use grid paper, look no further. This is a huge roll. Being single sided is the major disadvantage, but overall good price, and there's not much that can go wrong with grid paper. Quick delivery was a bonus.
