We just bought new couches because our dogs ruined our other ones due to lack of training on keeping them off in the first place. 🤷♀️🤦♀️I bought this in hopes that it would deter them from getting on the couch, and it worked! We have a frenchie and a black lab, now for our frenchie, i thought she'd be stubborn as she always is, and nope, she jumped on once and was like hell no, lmao. Now for our lab, all he had to do is sniff it and get a mild poke in the nose and he was done. Lol since earlier today, they have not gotten on and I don't think they will. The weight is super light and the durability is plenty for dogs of all sizes and I'm sure it's great for cats who like to jump on counters. No batteries or installation required. It came with garden staples and a velcro belt, but I didn't need any of it.

These are so cheap and so worthless. Do not waste your money. They do not stay in place and did not really deter our cats at all.

i love that they stack easy and don’t take up much space. i have 3 dogs 2 of which have incontinence/obsessive licking issues and ruin my furniture. these keep those ones off the couch. lightweight, easy to use, easy to store, seem durable, good bang for your buck

Got these mats to use at my grandmothers house because her cat loves to walk on the kitchen counters. We put these up and within minutes, her cat jumped right onto the scat mat. The cat was so spooked that she hopped right off, landing onto the stove. These are lightweight and thick enough for daily use. They are super sturdy but also easy to cut (with a box cutter) into smaller pieces to fit smaller areas. We have altered these into smaller sizes so that they form a border all the way around her kitchen counter. Happy to say the cat has not gotten on the kitchen counters in over a week!! I will be buying more to put around her garden bed this summer. This product is worth way more than it’s listed value and we are so happy we found these!

My 3 pitbulls always lay on the couch. It was cheap furniture we had for years so we never replaced it due to the dogs. I decided to go ahead and get a nice sectional that's light colored and prayed this would work. I connected these together in spots using the ties in the box. I went to work today and when I came home, the dogs were not on the couch and they weren't moved either. Tip, take your dogs paws and touch them with light pressure. That way the dogs know it won't feel good to jump on. I did it 2x with each dog and they never jumped on the couch! I put them further back since the dogs can't sit on the edge and that works best! I put the pillows on the edge of the plastic sheet to keep it in place. The stickers that come with it to hold it in place didn't work for me, so I used carpet tape instead (due to fabric type). These are a little pricey but THEY WORK! Again, touch your dogs paws to the spikes (don't press hard!) while it's on the couch and it will work!1
