We purchased this Igloo valve replacement for our 20-year-old cooler. The original valve cover had long since disappeared, so I hoped this replacement would make the cooler usable again and prevent water from leaking out when the ice melted.When the valve first arrived, it felt somewhat flimsy compared to the old one, which had an o-ring and a plastic bolt. This new one has just had a hand-screwed threaded plastic piece. However, after installing it, I was pleased to find that it did its job and kept the water from leaking. It brought new life to an old cooler. It does not appear as durable as the original, but the cover pops on tightly and keeps the melting ice at bay.

I had to replace the spout on our Coleman cooler. I decided to change the spout to a drain plug as the spout really wasn't being used much. This drain plug was a perfect fit. It was easy to swap the two plugs. I preferred the drain plug to help pull out the water without loosing too much ice.The quality of the plug seems good enough to last quite a while. These plugs were cheaper than have to replace the whole cooler.Overall these plugs were just what I needed to fix the cooler.
