I have three sizes of these blankets and I can't tell you how much of a game changer these have been for potty training, playtime, adult playtime, eating on the bed or sofa - they not only keep whatever is under them reliably dry and clean, they seem to absorb an unbelievable amount of liquid and then still feel dry to the touch. They're comfortable enough to even just use as a blanket, you'd hardly know it wasn't a regular blanket and I don't understand how it's possible but my son even had accidents on them and I didn't notice until the odor of urine tipped me off later in the day - where did the moisture go? No idea, but not into the mattress so I give these a major thumbs up. I've been washing them consistently for months and they seem to work just as well.The very largest size I own, the queen size throw, is a bit difficult to dry after washing because, well, it just does its job so darn well the washer can't spin the moisture out of it so I have to hang/drip dry it a bit before putting it in the dryer but honestly wow can't believe how well these work!

This is a very attractive and well-made blanket. I would say my only dislike is having to smooth it back out so much. After all, I used it for a very large 125 pound dog with large paws and major hair coat and tail. It just wouldn't stay put, so I ended up getting Tyrion a huge stay put dog bed, and sometimes use the blanket as a cover for his bed or as a portable blanket I can drag from room to room when he wants to stay near me. I actually ended up buying him 2 more dog beds to set up in his favorite rooms. His right hip sometimes has trouble, so he needed more cushioned and padded support. My mistake was that I needed more than a blanket.
