Sturdiness of this gate is amazing. I have two 190+ lb mastiffs that push against, paw at and jump up on this gate all the time and it holds firm. The extra tall option was the perfect fit. I would recommend this for anyone with large dogs that may need a time out area when fragile company comes to visit.

Size: up to 38.25"LIKES:Supper easy took about 3 minutes to un-box and install.Sturdy and easy to use.DISLIKES:Door does not close on it own and does not stay open on it's own.A lot cheaper quality than the extra tall extra wide size.It has a flat paint finish where as the extra tall and wide has a nice gloss finish.

Great product that’s easy to install and use. Well made too! I just wish for it to be a little easier to open for someone who has their hands full either going up or down the stairs. Like if carrying packages, clothes or a baby and then you have to slide the leaver back & lift up to open isn’t practical when your hands are full of items. We bought this to keep our small dogs from going upstairs. Which is great. But I worry about our daughter or son-n-law carrying our grandson up and down the stairs and possibly struggling with opening the gate. That is my only issue with this. I’ve carried arm loads of things and I struggled with the push back and lift safety feature trying to open this gate which could pose some problems but I still highly recommend this product because it is built great and the safety is there. You just have to be careful and think ahead if you’re going to have your hands full lol!

I ordered this gate to keep my two pups in the yard at my new home. I ordered in grey to match the house. I am very pleased with the quality of the gate and the ease of getting it installed. It took me all of 25 minutes to install and it looks great. It looks great on the front porch the boys can look out but they can't get out. LOVE THIS GATE!!!!
