I am using this material to replace the old leatherette in a medium format camera.The front looks and feels just like the real thing; the rear, not so much. The rear is "felt" like, nothing like the original backing. The original backing is "solid/slick", meaning no "felt" like material.When applying the Pliobond, the felt would absorb and curve the material, and did not stick to the camera body. only after a second coating of Pliobond only then it would straighten somewhat and then would stick to the camera body.Just wondering how long the leatherette will stay glued on the camera body before the felt starts to loosen up and unstick from the body, leaving felt attached to it...
