After my son lost his prescription glasses while riding a tube on the lake, we decided to buy one of these for him. It fits his glasses well and he doesn't complain about it, but thankfully his glasses haven't flown off yet so I can only assume that this really does float as advertised :)Would recommend this product!

I tested it while paddling and I didn’t lose my glasses, great product.

I've tried virtually every floating eyeglass retainer out there, and the Gogglebobber is the best. It serves the purpose of everyday use, whether I'm at a baseball game, in the city sightseeing, or in or around water. I keep them attached at all times, so I no longer have to pay a SCUBA diver $250 to fish my $1,800 prescription sunglasses off of the bottom of the lake!! The Gogglebobber reliably floats my heavy sunglasses and has a non-stiff strap that attaches to the frames with a loop that tightens with added force. I’ve found that the floating retainers are either too stiff for routine wear or don’t attach to the frames reliably. The stiff ones will often push my sunglasses away from my face when I turn my head - especially while driving a car. Other retainers attach to the frames by simply sliding onto the end of the bows of the glasses, which makes the glasses slide off with sometimes only a little force and this problem seems to worsen with the age of the retainer. There is a point at which the Gogglebobbers will slip off, but I presume this is for safety reasons. The Gogglebobber does a much better job of staying attached than all the other brands I’ve tried.

These work well, keep the glasses on. Minus one star for the hideously ugly and totally unnecessary advertising printed all over the product.
