These bike pants work better for running since they lack a chamois. They’re warm and good as an outer layer over bib-shorts, but doubling up increases friction, which isn’t ideal. If you don’t need a chamois, they could be handy for cycling, but for me, they’ve found their spot as a running layer instead.

The black medium-large size thermal cycling pants by Rockbros Cycling are made in PRC (china). There are several different fabrics used to make these pants. The outer shell is mostly 82% nylon and 18% spandex. There is a silicone layer around the inside of the waistband to hold it in place. The main fabric is on the thick side, so it cuts the cold wind well. The three zippers (rear pocket, ankle zips) are all YKK brand, and work well. The two side pockets are deep enough for a phone, but I would only trust the zippered rear pocket with anything that is hard to replace. These leggings have a fuzzy liner that feels like fleece (76% polyester, 13% nylon, and 11% spandex). These pants have no pad, so they are meant to be worn over a pair of padded shorts or bibs. The material has a little bit of stretch, but I do not consider these pants stretchy. The behind the knee patches are very stretchy (52% nylon and 48% spandex), and do help reduce the bunching of the main fabric. I found these pants work for me in the cool morning runs or rides.4 stars
