I don't fish but own a boat and keep a net aboard for lost items hats, trash and more that may blow off my boat. I like how it folds and stores very neatly, yet extends when I need it. I haven't used it yet but seems sturdy enough for my intended use

Handy little net. I didn’t use it for fish or its intended purpose. I used it to muck out my dock 😆 I pulled about 1 1/2 yards from the lake and it held up. The only this I had was the clip on the back of the net bent. I ran a wire through it and scooped muck for five hours at about 50-60 lbs per scoop. Highly recommended this net!

These have a nice length, but the head does feel a Titch flimsy. We were worried it would not be able to take the weight of a 12 inch yellow belly slider turtle that it gotten into my Koi pond. But when we finally cornered that little sucker this net was able to handle it, and it didn’t tear from his claws. So, I am happy. I now have two nets in case any of those pesky turtles. Come back!

I have a hard time gripping and tightening or loosening the adjusters to extend the handle.A sturdy wide band to wrap around the whole thing when its closed would be a good addition.Still a great purchase, The mechanism that holds the net open seems nice and sturdy.It packs nice and small for portaging.

I bought this net with the intention of using when river fishing. I have a small shoulder sling bag for my tackle and there is a perfect pocket this net stows into. I am able to walk around without worrying about it falling out of the pocket.The overall design of the net is good and it is fairly sturdy. I wish the net opening could be slightly larger for bigger fish like salmon, but this will still work. The unit has 2 extendable sections which makes netting a fish a lot easier for a person fishing solo. I am very pleased with the quality of the frame and net. However, I wish the netting was rubber or silicone, instead of the old school netting, as the newer materials prevent injuring the fish when doing catch & release. Changing the net material would be a huge improvement in the overall quality of the unit.
