This barn door hardware is great, I used it for my bathroom. It slides smoothly and I used rough cut spruce wood from my local saw mill. I just watched a few YouTube videos and put this together, guests really enjoy it. I was about to buy a door handle, but decided to make my own from a length of 1x1, I’d recommend making the door handle yourself, lots of character.

For the money, this was good purchase. Instructions were hard to understand. We got it done though! Had a swinging door “into” our bathroom shower doors. We used caps to replace the door knob holes, and converted our standard swinging door to a barn door to solve the problem.

The package arrived on time. It went up ok. The thing to know is have your tools together. My husband kept going back and forth to his shop to get more tools. took longer to put up because he was running back and forth. The instructions tell you what you need tool wise.The track works fine. Easy rool. However, the door was to small. We wound up building the door. The door does not come with the kit. I am happy with the kit.

I love this product. It is beautiful once it is installed and it is very sturdy. But stating that it takes 30 minutes with two people to install. It is definitely not the case. My husband and I have built many things and installed many things. We are renovating our house in fact. it took us quite some time to get this installed. In fact, took us two tries of having to install and then reinstall to get it right. The instructions are not the greatest, we had to look a few things up on the Internet that were unclear. But it is a great deal and does look great once it’s up.

I was skeptical that this barn door hardware would be of high quality for the money. I was pleasing surprised. I purchased a six foot version. It was pretty easy to install. Make sure the bar mounted to the wall is perfectly level. If it isn't level the door will open or close by itself. I was a little disappointed that the small screws to mount the floor guides are very soft steel and easy to strip the phillips head on them. Overall I like the looks and for the money I think the product is a good value.I would like to add a note about a second unit purchased for a friend. The hardware was good, but the plastic anchors for a wall where studs don't line up are awful. They spun when trying to insert the lag bolts. I drilled new holes in the rail to hit studs.
