Really warm. That's either a good thing or a bad thing depending on the outside temperature. Tried to wear it for the first time this morning in 32 degree weather with light snow and my head was sweating within five minutes. But it gets much colder than that here in Vermont in the depths of winter so this will be perfect. Well made, good fit (my head is 22.5" I bought a medium), not too snug, definitely not too loose. The faux fur is soft and not scratchy, and the chin clasp is easy to clip and unclip. Looks very cool. Would buy again for sure.

This hat is great looking, fairly light, and warm. It does shed. It seems if I pull it wrong, hairs come off.I think the size chart is very optimistic. I have a 58cm head, which the chart says is M/L. Instead, on the suggestion of another reviewer, I purchased the 2XL/3XL and I’m glad I did. I think XL might have worked, but would have been more snug than I like.Note I don’t have lots of hair or a man bun or anything like that. I’m 2XL/3XL just for a buzz cut.Edit: In more use, the chin strap is too small. I works okay, but even at its loosest, it could be another inch longer.

After reading other reviews I decided to order this hat in the largest size available XXL -3xl Glad I did it fits just the way I like, not too loose not too snug. I have alot of hair and also like to wear a visor hat underneath to shield the wind, snow, rain and this larger size allows me to do so. I ordered the gray and it is a really nice looking hat and seems to be great quality, much heavier than some of the cheaper trapper/aviator hats I've had in the past. I work outside in New England, and our winters which can be extremely cold, I'm certain this hat will keep me warm and looks great as well! I had ordered one previously from another company that ended up being way too small and of far less quality, for the same price. I'm glad I returned that one and tried this company, I highly recommend!
