It’s about the only backpack that doesn’t draw the evil eye of the overly compliant gate agent. It looks like a backpack and not a carryon. Let’s face it, the only thing that would ruin your ski trip is not having your own boots. This keeps them safely at your side and still give you other alternatives to haul gear.

Well padded, low profile (relatively), flight carry on friendly sized, moderate volume, heavy duty ski boot backpack. My Tecnica Cochise 27.5 fits very well (you might have some struggle to fit 29 boots in however).

Great alternative to traditional boot bags, quite spacious and fit into plane carry on luggage requirements for me (without the helmet). Feels more premium than the price suggests, so good for a weekend, and pretty comfortable when actually skiing.

I was first attracted to this bag because of the helmet "pod". On my previous bags, I attached the string of my helmet bag to a loop on the top of the boot bag via a carabiner clip, but the helmet could swing freely and brain me and those around me. I was a little concerned about other reviews reporting that the bag was too small for their boots, and when I first got the bag, I didn't think my boots were going to fit either even though they are size 28 and the specs claim the bag can hold up to size 32. I was disappointed because the bag has a lot of intelligently designed features and I really liked it, so I went back and gave it another try. It helps to pull the bottom of the bag up taut to remove any folds or wrinkles. My boots were still a snug fit, but I discovered that it was due more to the cuff height than the length, so if your boots are tall you are more likely to have issues than if they are shorter.I am glad that I got my boots to fit because it is by far the best boot bag I have ever had. I love the helmet pod, but you have to remove the helmet to fit the bag into an airline overhead compartment. The bag is comfortable and easy to put on. You can attach it to a SportTube ski case so that you don't have to wear it, but It was comfortable enough that I didn't bother. The bag is spacious enough that you can fit all of your ski clothing in it as well. I could still have skied the next day if the airline had lost my checked bag, and if you are a light packer you could probably avoid checking a bag. You can access the clothing compartment from an outside zipper, or open the bag up like a suitcase and access it from an inside zipper. There is a built-in carrying handle at the top of the back straps for when you have to lug the bag by hand. There are other convenience features as well, and the bag seems to be very sturdy. If money were no object, I would buy another bag (or two) as backup for when this one does eventually wear out. I am very happy with it.
