Good quality, lids fight tightly. Great for storing everything from flours to sauces & stocks.

I’ve been making sourdough bread for years, but recently started following the Tartine Bakery recipe. I can make my leaven in the small container and I put my dough in the larger one. They are great quality. I like that I can see through them and watch as my leaven and dough are processing. I only use the lid on the small one with my leftover leaven that I use for my next started.

I was very impressed with the care taken shipping these very large food storage containers. They were double bubble wrapped very tightly snugly in a large box. They were in perfect condition when unpacked. Thanks for the extra care. They are strong and work great.

I bought these to use for proofing my bread. They are the perfect size and shape, very durable, can go in the dishwasher (though they are a bit large for that and it's easy to hand wash them), and the lids snap on securely. The price was reasonable, too.

Updated info: the description says it’s not dishwasher safe, however there is a dishwasher top rack icon on the bottom (icon shows wine glass and fork). I decided to try it and it survived undamaged in our dishwasher. Our dishwasher is a modern one about 2 years old and doesn’t have the heating element in the bottom. It does get hot, however it didn’t warp the containers. I’d say it’s dishwasher safe without too much heat and top rack to be sure. Otherwise hand wash like they do in the restaurants. We needed storage for soup when we want soup leftovers for a couple of days. I remember these kinds of containers when I worked in food service, they are used to store left overs for the next day such as fruit or veggies. These containers are just like the commercial ones, I wish the larger ones were cheaper though. The half gallon and gallon bundle was good at $20. These seem to be good quality like those commercial containers we used in the walk in refer. The only beef I have is the symbols on the bottom of the container and the lid have the dishwasher safe symbol (the circle with the wine glass and fork) however the descriptions say not dishwasher safe. I may try them in the top rack anyway to see how it does. I suspect they want you to stay away from the older dishwashers that have the exposed heating element in the bottom. Newer ones don’t do that and don’t get as hot inside. Let’s see.
