I bought this product in Oct 2016 and after 7 months it stopped working. I contacted the seller who said he could not do anything. I then contacted Sunbeam who could not refund my money or help. After that I contacted Amazon. After a month of trying to get a refund and speaking with at least 10 agents and hours of time wasted I was left with a mattress pad that did not work and money wasted on it. I lost money in buying this and would not recommend it to anyone. Amazon did nothing but transfer me to various agents every time I called to check on the status. One call was for 1 hour and 17 minutes after the various transfers and time on hold. They said they would send in an A-Z Claim and after doing that twice, nothing happened. They did a Guarantee Investigation Assistance Form and I was told that was not applicable to my case. They would not give me the contact info for Corporate so I could see if they could refund my money. The end result was loss of money and time wasted on Amazon customer service.

This heated mattress pad is a great addition to our bed. We can preheat the bed so it isn't so cold to get in. Great for people who live in cold climates or who have air conditioning that gets too cold in your bedroom or just want to sleep in a warmer space.

The product is an upgrade for us, the one we had previously (testing purposes) was about 1/3rd of the price of this one and lasted less than 1 year, but as I said the previous one was just as a test.This one fits perfectly on our bed, it even improves the look of the bed itself somewhat if I can go as far as saying that. The preheat function is perfect and convenient, I usually turn it on while I go to brush my teeth in the evening and bed is nice and warm by the time I'm done. It's also perfectly timed it helps you warm up yourself and then automatically goes to the preferred setting (I usually have it at L or 2 if the evening is especially cool). So far I haven't had any need to go any higher than level 2 although I'd imagine on much cooler nights higher setting would be preferable. Setup was easy enough for my wife (I was away in Europe at the time) to accomplish on her own. So far we've had no problems with controllers unlike some customers that had made a review so I'd guess majority are working as they should. Myself and wife agree that the heating wires are underneath enough material (for us anyhow) to not be able to feel them which is perfect.I have no negatives so far and I'm hoping product will last long enough, then again it does come with 5 year warranty albeit some customers noted that claiming the warranty is pain in the behind. However that might be minority (as it seems to be case with the controllers not working).All in all we're both more than happy with the product. Definitely recommended!

I should have bought this last fall, but instead I just took a hot shower and climbed into bed hoping the heat would warm my bed up. This is a million times better. I just preheat it for a bit and climb in. My bed is now toasty warm when I climb in. That means I can fall asleep faster and I believe I'm sleeping better too now.The only drawback is where they put the connector plug at the end of the bed. I wish they'd put it so it was vertical on the mattress, instead it's on top of the mattress at the end of the bed. I have to adjust my feet around it. Other than that I love this mattress pad. It's worth every penny!

I purchased this because my girlfriend runs about 20 degrees cooler than I do, and we live in a mountain town steamboat,co.). And oddly enough, finding a retailer with electric blankets was difficult up here! It being fall as I write this, we have cooler nights. Our rental uses mostly electric baseboards which can be very expensive to run.We looked at other online retailers, including Walmart.com, Target.com etc. The ship to store option was more expensive than paying for shipping on amazon.com. So we found the proper size, ordered and waited.Shipping: shipping to our unit here in steamboat is a challenge! We have no mailbox, and most dont ship to a PO box. Also, we have had issues where certain sites wont ship UPS to our house, and instead we have to pay UPS a surcharge (!?) to deliver to their shop here ($10!!), which is only 300 feet from our rental. we never have a problem with amazon shipping here. so 5 stars for that!Product: As promised, easy to setup. good quality cover. The mattress pad WILL INDEED fit just about any mattress. We have deluxe pillow top, with an additional memory foam pad 3") over it, and the mattress pad fits securely.How does it work?: Like a charm! She runs way colder than I do honestly shivering almost in convulsions as she gets into bed, wearing a hoodie and pajama pants). With the mattress pad on PREHEAT for about twenty minutes before bed, it preheats the matress, sheets and comforter to a nice warm body temp. She has no problem hopping in now, in the buff, and falls right to sleep! I have her side set at 1 and on really cold nights to 2 after the preheat.As a bonus, my side of the bed stays cold..and I get to stay at my own comfort level. I even wake up sometimes in the middel of the night and turn my side on to 1. I sleep warm and comfy the rest of the night.Drawback: she doesnt need my bodyheat as much anymore...and waking up can be hard when your so warm and comfy in bed
