I bought this to record the sound from a video only available from a particular source and I get much better sound. I plugged it in and a couple clicks on my imac captured great results. Simplicity I truly appreciate.

After time, it rips up easy and becomes very poor quality

A little tricky to install, I'm never quite sure just how flexible and durable these foam sleeves are but with a bit of gentle persuasion it will fit over the snowball mic. Has cutouts for the cords etc, so fits nicely. Shipped folded in half, which makes a point on the top so now my snowball looks like a perky boob. No matter how much I poke it, it won't stay down. Oh well, fun even when not in use.

Bought a pop filter for my snow ball around the same time. I realized it was meant for a boom mic but I sort of just learned to manage. When I saw this, I said "it's cheap, why not?" Pretty good choice.

One of the best investments I have ever made when it came to investing in my YouTube journey! For some reason, I started having issues with high pitches and lack of strong voice quality with my mic. I was unsure if it was my editing or something else, but I decided to give this a try for the price and it made a HUGE difference in my audio! I was extremely impressed and would definitely recommend if you want better quality voice, but also more equalized voice over as well! Highly recommend!
