Easy replacement part as part of the old office chair renewal. Saved money buy not having buy complete new chair.

My chair's previous base unit had heavy plastic holes into which the casters went so they buckled. I bought this to replace that one.This base unit sits approx one inch higher than my previous one but that's not an issue. The metal quality is great, assembly is straightforward but as things are tight needs a little work but I take confidence in good tolerances like that. Importantly, the holes into which the casters go is solid metal, so I don't expect them to buckle with movement. Good design, nicely done. Recommended.

This is a very sturdy and strong piece. Much better than a plastic part. Arrived very fast, I highly recommend.

Unable to use this item because it was not the right product I needed a heavy duty chair base in black, it was not what I needed.Item retuned for refund. Thank you.
