Modellino di una vecchia locomotiva a vapore delle ferrovie tedeshe. Le stampate si presentano perfette con sbavature quasi assenti. Per chi come me ama il modellismo statico è un kit che non dovrebbe nancare. Ovviamente è un kit non adatto ai principianti. Spedizione velocissima, mi è arrivato il giorno dopo e pacco perfetto. Rapporto qualità prezzo ok. Soddisfatto 100%

The gears are impressively complex look great but ultimately stop the thing from working. Luckily, I only ever wanted it for the challenge of assembly. And what a challenge! I would recommend holding each panel up to the light, locate the tiny slivers of wood that hold the parts to the panel, and cut them with a thin sharp knife, otherwise the parts may not come out in one piece.

金型的には、かなり古そうな印象を受ける物で初版は３０年くらい前かもしれません。昔の外国製にありがちな、「精密だけど組立し難い」感じのプラモデルです。私は、慣れない構造のせいか、なかなかモチベーションが上がらず、完成させるのに1年半もかかってしまいました。しかし、これは私が未熟な故の事で、たぶん鉄道模型の蒸気機関車のベースキットを作れる人なら簡単に作れると思います。外国の鉄道故、考証的な事は全く判りませんが、出来上がった物は、かなり精密で細部のゴチャゴチャ感は高価な鉄道模型を上回ると思います。私は、そこまで余力はありませんでしたが、手すりやパイピングを金属線に置き換えれば、とても良くなりそうです。あと、メーカー公表の完成写真では、かなり歪みが目立ちますが、丁寧に組み立てれば歪み無く組めます。裏を返せば、雑に作るとガタガタになるとも言えます。
