I bought this as a replacement for my glass mixer bowl that cracked. It fits perfectly and is so much easier to handle and wash. Love it!

We just purchased our KitchenAid mixer at Christmas and have been looking at getting different attachments. I think the price is insanely expensive. However, this works good, and is really easy to clean. It took a little bit to figure out how to use it, but that may have just been me.

Fits KitchenAid brand mixer stand perfectly, and snugly just as the original does. They do look slightly different if you compare them but the part that counts is that it fits the notches and catches really well. This is to help replace the hooks that are coated in ceramic which tends to chip off and can pose a choking hazard or puncture your organs internally if ingested unknowingly. Fear not any flaking, this is one solid piece and no coatings. Great replacement part if yours is getting beat up, chipped, or has other issues.
