The higher the water is pumped above the pond surface, the less flow will result. Some flow is lost due to restrictions in tubing and filters. Waterfall widths are approximately 1 inch wide for every 100 GPH. For submersible use only.

I bought this pump so my kids can play in their backyard pond. It pushes a lot of water and it does not get stuck with debris, even though the kids put in a lot of dirt, sand and wood chips as they play.I recommended it.

I bought this pump after mine died(exact same model) after about 4 years of use in summers outside. I tried contacting 'Tetra' directly with no success for help in finding this model as it was I believe an older model pump. No response to emails and hung up on me over the phone. I did some searches a few times and then I found it her on Amazon. It arrived in 1 day! And not with prime. Connected to the filter I already had/had the fountain attachments already. Anyway, I have only had it running for a day but working great so far.

Cleared my medium sized pond debris quickly. My pre-filter box kept getting clogged because the pump was pulling everything into it. Using it with an XtremepowerUS 10,000 filter
