I actually got these for a DIY solder fume extractor I was building. Similar concept to the air purifier these are designed to go into, but configured a bit differently. :) The size was exactly what I was looking for, and so far they seem to be doing an excellent job at trapping odors and airborne particles. Smoke and other pollutants are quickly pulled away from my work area and disappear into this filter, never to be seen or smelled again. :) I imagine they would do just as well in the machine they are intended to be used in.

Colorfullife makes these Levoit 100S Non-OEM Filters that are JUST AS GOOD and EQUAL to the more expensive OEM branded versions. These fit perfectly in my 100S. See my attached video and pictures I included with my review. Whenever I can find an equally good, practically near equal quality Non-OEM filter from a reputable company - BUT at a cost of a fraction of OEM, I will always get it! It comes with a Hassle Free Return. But I had ZERO ISSUES with these and APPRECIATE the huge discount value they offer. These filters from Colorfullife were accepted perfectly by my 100S and on the app & work like a breathe of fresh air (pun intended!). Prices are much more reasonable than OEM! Thank you!I only give five star ratings to items that I use and exceed my expectations for quality, function, and durability. I'm not sure why they colored this.... does it actually have the extra capabilities like the colored version by levoit? I think it does, but how would you test that? It seems to take the smoke out of the air... It works fine and the cost is good.

We run our two Vital 100S air purifiers on auto 24/7 and change the filters every few months. I really like these green toxin absorber versions. We can see in our app and also on the lights on the air purifiers, they seem to take less time to clear air when cooking, or when something else triggers them to go on high.

Normally, I consider aftermarket filters to be inferior to the ones that come with air purifiers. Sometimes just by a little bit, sometimes by a lot. It’s hard to judge the filtering capability of any single filter because you can’t see most of what you trap (the only visible effects tend to get trapped on the pre-filter) until many months have passed. However, I will say that I think this filter is actually BETTER than the Levoit filter that came with my unit. Why? You can see from the photos.The pleat count looks to be identical between this filter (green) and the default Levoit filter (white). Both feel sturdy, solid, and well constructed. However, this filter weighs significantly more than the Levoit (520g for this one vs. 386g for the Levoit) because it contains a lot more charcoal for neutralizing odors. In all fairness, I don’t have a Levoit “toxin filter” to compare it to, but you can see from the photos that there isn’t much carbon in the OEM filter (lots of light shining through). However, the small hexagonal pockets are completely filled with carbon particles on this filter, which tells me that it should continue to neutralize odors for a lot longer than the OEM.I’m impressed with the construction and materials used and if this filter was offered for the same price as the Levoit, I would still choose this filter.
