For the price, this clicker is pretty sweet. Very bright laser pointer and the unit seem well made considering its light weight. It's pretty compact too, so will fit in the laptop case.I'm enjoying clicking now!

I used this clicker for an important presentation in front of a few dozen people, and it worked great! The USB & USB-C dongle stays inside the pointer snugly, and it has a magnet to make sure it doesn't fall out. When I used the dongle, it was already pre-paired and didn't require any extra setup, making it super easy. There also wasn't any noticeable delay from the point of clicking a button until the action appeared on screen. The laser pointer is enough to show up quite clearly when pointing it towards a projector in a medium-lit room. It also has an on/off switch to preserve battery, so it will probably last quite a while on the required AAA battery. It's durable, is nice to hold, and fits nicely in even a small bag for easy transport.

When I'm teaching, I always have a laser pointer in my hand. My kids used to joke they'd get a free period if my pointer died, and they might have been right, except they didn't know I keep a spare in my backpack. But now I use LibreOffice and PowerPoint and Google Presentations instead of an overhead projector. This one is very lightweight, fits great in my hand and in a shirt pocket, and works exactly the way I want. It has the usual buttons: forward, page up/down, volume up/down, and laser.Instead of Bluetooth and need to be sync'ed, it has a dongle, which is much easier with a borrowed PC. The dongle goes in the "butt" end of the pointer (you almost have to know it's there), is held in place magnetically, just strongly enough that I'd be really surprised if it came out accidentally, but it's still easy to pull out. And it has USB-A (old-fashioned rectangular) and also USB-C plugs, so you can probably even use it with your phone.I tested it with a half-charged rechargeable battery (it takes 1 AAA), equivalent to an alkaline with about 5% left, and even then, the presentation buttons worked up to 20 feet away. The laser is extremely bright: it throws a bright dot even on a dark surface 50' away in a well-lit room, and is visible outdoors to about 20'. I'm sure it works well indoors at 100 and probably 200 feet, and further in a darkened room, but I can't test that. There's an on/off slider, which prevents accidental button presses in a bag, and even more important, when you turn it off, the battery won't eventually run down and leak as always happens with a "soft" switch. It says it's compatible with almost anything, and it should be. Here's how to know: it connects as a keyboard called "Wireless Present". It sends a "Tab" key with the "next screen" button, which does a "next page" for all the software listed on the product page, so if you can do what you want with some combinations of the Tab, Page-Up, Page-Down, Volume-Up, and Volume-Down keys on a keyboard, this will do what you want. Also, though in the course of a normal presentation you wouldn't need them, holding the "next screen" button will let you select a different application in Windows (like w/Alt-Tab), and double-clicking it sends an Enter key. The only thing I might wish for is also to be able to send a Space, which could start/stop YouTube and Pandora.

My cat's got a kick out of the red laser pointer so that was a good fun few minutes of my life. This thing takes AAA batteries and only one battery to be exact. It's got two side buttons that control volume a plus and a minus (I'm assuming) and then there's an on and off switch on the leftmost side.I don't know why. When I saw this online I figured it'd be a little bit more robust, but it feels more like one of those plastic remotes for a Roku or something. The buttons are soft to the touch and they don't protrude too far off the surface of the top of this thing and it also has a little clip on the top of it as well so you can gently tuck it into a binder without worrying about losing it. I do like the hidden feature of where they put the USB and USB-C plug in for this thing.

Perfect for teachers. This presentation clicker can be used with either a USB-b or a USB-c port. It also clips onto your lanyard or top easily making it easy to keep on you when teaching.
