This was probably the single best addition to my tank. I have an expensive filter system that couldn't handle the tannins from my drift wood in my plant tank. Upon doing some research, it was suggested to get a sponge filter. This cleared my tank in a matter of 24 hours. Love it. Highly recommend.

I have 3 of these in my 125, 2 in my 80 and 1 in my 55. They work amazing. My water is always crystal clear and they make perfect wave makers and create tons of surface agitation and that's why I just love these filters. The are also super quiet you can barely hear them the water flow sound is incredible. The only downside is they suck in so much stuff that pretty much every water top up or change u have to rinse out 1 or 2 of the sponges everytime or the water flow gets weak. I usually just rinse it out 1 of the 3 in some of the tank water every time I top up.

I've been using this aquarium filter for a month or so now, and I'm overall very impressed with its performance. It does an incredible job of keeping my tank clean and clear. The water flow is strong and consistent, and the filter effectively removes most traces of debris and waste.One of the things I like most about this filter is its affordability. It's one of the cheapest filters I've found, and it performs just as well as more expensive models (in my opinion). However, there are a couple of minor drawbacks that I've noticed.First, the filter can be a bit of a pain to clean. The filter cartridges are a bit fiddly to remove and replace, and they get clogged up quickly with debris. This means that I have to clean the filter more often than I'd like.Second, the filter can be a bit noisy. The motor makes a humming sound that can be noticeable, especially in a quiet room. However, I've found that the noise doesn't bother me too much, and it's a small price to pay for such effective filtration.Overall, I'm very happy with this aquarium filter. It's a great value for the price, and it does an incredible job of keeping my tank clean. plaugged in burned it in 10 min ... 120 V only ... my bad also didnt spot it on the box...
