The house itself is a nice product - easy to put together, looks good. However, our cats' litter box behavior changed once we started using it. When we previously had just a litter box sitting out with no cover, they had no problems aiming and keeping it all in the box. But once we put the litter box inside this house, they peed all over the walls. I think psychologically something changes and they think the whole inside is the litter box. Maybe it's just our cats, but maybe it's not (they're 2 years old, so they're fully litter trained and it's not a senile cat issue). We had it for less than four months and had to stop using it because the wood became soiled and smelled bad. Photo attached to show what the interior damage looked like after we cleaned it out. It took me over 1h to put this thing together, followed the directions and I wanted to give up, it is not sturdy enough, and a cheap wood/plastic. It looks nice when put together but I don’t know how long this will last. Also, I need to get a new litter box since the space inside is very small and just put an order for a smaller litter. Overall, for the price I was expecting something a little better quality.

I wish I'd thought it through better before purchasing this. The front door opening is not the best design for a human. You have to bend over and pretty much take the pot out to thoroughly scoop it. The pots I have aren't huge, but I have to tilt them to get them out. It would be a better design if the top had a hinge so you could get an easy view and access to the pot without taking it out.It is sturdy, but as an older person with a bad back, the easy construction I was anticipating (it's a cube) turned out to be naive on my part. It was an enormous pain in the rear end to put together, having to hold multiple sides in place while reaching deep inside to reach with the screwdriver.On the plus side, the cats like it quite a bit. Now I just have to drum up the ambition to get the second enclosure put together.

It’s very easy to put together. I put it together in like 30 minutes. My cat wasn’t suspicious about it at all. I think she enjoys the privacy. J enjoy not having an ugly eye sore in my bathroom. You have the option of having that towel rack thing on either side depending on where and how you put it in your home. Which is a nice option. Super easy to wipe down. Totally worth the money.

Received my litter box house today, took me about an hour to assemble (mostly because the cat insisted on helping). Shipped quickly, arrived in sturdy packaging. Instructions were mostly easy to follow (I've put together enough things to follow even the worst of instructions). 5 minutes after setup my cat hopped right in and did her business. Ambyr-zeii is about 9/lbs and got in/out easily. This litter box house will do exactly what it is made to do. I rated only four stars as you can see from the pics I did receive the product damaged which is a bummer. (My apt is like a thrift store, I don't mind if items are used and imperfect, however when I pay full price for a brand new item, I expect brand new condition). It is not worth the effort to return and get a new one as the paint smootch does not impact the function. If in the off chance the company reads this and wants to refund me some money, I wouldn't say no. I would probably buy again for all the reasons listed if I needed a second one but I do encourage the company to do better.
