The item came with simple instructions and all the needed hardware. I works great for those odd angles.

Every aspect of this was low quality, from the casting, to the drive shaft, to the slightly off-sized collet, to the screeching sound when used, to the stalling, caused by twisting of the drive shaft, which is actually a flexible squared off spring. This was in service for under a week before it hit the trash can and was replaced with a Dremel brand one that was only a few bucks more.

I bought this because it was half the price of the dremel branded one but looked the same thing, I needed it to work on a really tight space under my car cutting a steel high pressure hose.I have a Teccpo rotary tool which for some reason stops spinning if the cutting disc gets stuck or faces to much resistance, and that was precisely the problem I had with this adapter, it offered enough resistance to my Teccpo tool to make it stop. I had to put some WD40 into the adapter and play a little bit with it before being able to make it work without it making my tool stop.I would recommend spending the extra bucks and going for the branded one

I would give this five stars if the first one worked. I had to order a second one due to poor quality control. The Yakamoz right angle converter fit on both my rotary grinders, however, you need to tinker with the square cable that fits into the collet so when you tighten the nut it is not pressed against the top of the tool. I had to order two, because when I removed the collet nut (or chuck for you purists), not only did it take an end wrench to do so, but could not be threaded back on straight. The chuck was very light aluminum and had a burr at the bottom, which indicated to me that a machine probably screwed it on too tight, damaging both the the nut and the threads. I attempted to find a die to re-thread the collet holder, as everything worked except you couldn't screw anything back on to tighten the collet on the cable that drives the tool. I figured since it appeared to be universal, I could find a die and re-cut the threads. HA! My thread gauge showed 40 TPI, but it measured 7mm in diameter, so the closest metric die I could find was a 7mm by .75 thread pitch, which was still too coarse. Called all the local providers tap and die providers and no one had or knew anyone who did have such an animal. The price being less than 1/2 the Dremel right angle attachment, I tried another, and aside from the flimsy chuck it looked to me to be at least as robust as the Dremel if not better. I would recommend using the collets and chucks from your other grinders as the Yakamoz are really light duty, but I have run it several times now, and it seems to run fine. All my Dremel, and Milwaukee stuff work fine with it, and i like the fact the there is an adjustment ring on the bottom where it screws over end of the tool, so if you need to change the angle, just back off the ring a bit, turn the tool and retighten. Pretty simple, no instructions, but metal gears and if properly adjusted, doesn't seem to heat up when used. Worth the money to me and if it weren't for the iffy quality contol, I would gift it to anyone I knew who had a Dremel-type grinder. Since Amazon is so great on returns, I would recommend giving it a shot.

No instructions were provided. A little tricky to install on my Dremel 4000, here's what I did: On the 4000, unscrew & remove the cover over the collet & nut. Screw on the right angle adapter's cover and screw coupling where the original cover was removed. Remove the collet provided with the springy shaft of the right angle adapter (mine was shipped with a collet on the shaft that is not compatible with my 4000, not sure why, never used this new collet, it was actually upside down when shipped...). Insert the springy shaft into the original collet, round side into the Dremel. The springy shaft also has a square side, there is a transition about half way up the spring. The square side inserts into the right angle adapter. Here's the critical part: the square side of the drive shaft must completely bottom out into the adapter to prevent slipping/stripping. So I ended up adjusting and adjusting the length of the shaft sticking out of collet many times until I got the max amount of square spring sticking out, yet could still thread the screw coupler all the way onto the right angle adapter. Geez, I have no idea if that made any sense, but it took me a while to figure it out. Instructions would have been nice. I used it a few times afterward, and it worked fine.
