I had high hopes for this but it just did not work from the get-go. I could hear the caller fine but they could barely hear me even if I bent the microphone close to my mouth. They said I sounded far away and was staticy. Returned it.

Really like the sound quality on this headset and the noise cancellation feature. It does a great job of filtering outside noise so caller's don't notice anything, ideal for a noisy office or if you work remote with roommates. This doesn't have any built-in mute or volume buttons, so you would need to rely on your handset's sound functions. The microphone can adjust up to maybe ~160 degrees each way, and it can bend a bit to be further/closer to your mouth. Although it has room to flex and bend, it doesn't feel like it can go too far out without being damaged. There is a clip so you can attach the wire to your shirt. The wire is pretty long on each side of the breakaway quick-connect point, so you might need to velcro tie the cable closer to your handset so the cable doesn't get tangled or messy on your desk. I've tested pulling the breakaway point while holding the wire and can confirm it unsnaps easily. I've definitely run into the issue of walking away from the desk and accidentally pulling the headset cable, so this is a good thing to note. It is also an RJ9 cable too.My biggest issue with this headset is the ear cushions. Although the rest of the headset is made of tough matte rubber and higher quality plastics, the ear cushions are like those from cheap disposable headsets that airlines provide you during a flight. It really sticks out when you first put the headset on, considering the quality of the rest of the headset. After wearing this for about 30min, I found myself readjusting constantly or setting it on my neck to rest rather than leaving it on during my calls. If you take a lot of calls for your job/business, I would opt for the Yealink YHS36 since it has leather ear cushions that are much more comfortable for long periods of time. If you take calls less frequently, this YHS34 will do the job reliably.

This dual telephone headset has rotatable microphone boom so you can use it on either the right or left side.I have an AVAYA model 9608G in my office and it works just fine. The quality of this headset is very good and comfortable.

The sound quality in this headset is perfect. With speakers on both ears, it helps cancel out the outside noise. The microphone clarity is excellent, it doesn't sound too close or far away, and it does need to be right at your mouth. The phone adapter is universal and easy to install. I like it so far.

Yealink YHS34 Lite Dual Telephone Headset with RJ9 Jack Phone Headset with Microphone Noise Canceling, Compatible with Yealink Poly Avaya Snom Desk Landline Phones (2.1m Cable)UPDATE: I decided to try plugging it into the receiver’s plug and it worked. However, to answer or make a call or make a call, instead of pressing the headset button, you just pick up the disconnected receiver to engage or disengage a call. I ordered an RJ11 splitter so that I can have both the headset and the receiver available for use simultaneously.Make sure you check your phone first for whether it's compatible with this headset. I mistakenly assumed all things telephone would just work with each other, as to me, it's old tech. But I was wrong. My phone at work is a Cisco IP 7942 and it didn't work at all. I plugged the jack into the headset jack on the phone and I didn't even hear a dial tone. I reinserted a couple times to make sure it was seated properly, but to no avail.I emailed the company and they responded promptly and very courteously informed me (without making me feel like a dumb-dumb, so 5 stars for prompt, courteous, and thorough customer service) this headset is only compatible with Yealink Poly Avaya Snom Desk Landline Phones, just like the title and description shows. They then gave me the link to the one that is compatible with Cisco phones as well as attached a screenshot. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09ZXB1W1RIf it worked, it seems like it would've been a decent quality headset. I liked the feature it had of being able to disconnect with the little plastic joint piece without having to take the headset entirely off. So just remember, check first for compatibility!
