This bike is the worst.

I work in a medical exercise facility and we purchased this to accommodate our larger patients. Just want anyone in a similar scenario to know it is weight-rated to 360-pounds, NOT 400. We have numerous patients over 400-pounds who need and want low-impact exercise like cycling.

Very good magnetic spin bike for home usage. Reviewed and compared multiple bikes at various price points and decided on the Yosuda Pro. The build quality, fit and finish is very good and the ride is stable, smooth and very quiet. Plastic components have good thickness and are very durable. The electronic monitor could really use a back-lit screen; not a deal breaker imho because the digital readout is large enough. The seat is a bit hard, but I'm guessing it is due to the fact it's new and it will soften up over time. The rollers are similar to those found on rollerblades and not the hard square edged type; maneuverability on both carpet and hard surfaces is excellent.

I've had a few exercise cycles in the past and each ended up largely unused mainly because of the un-natural feel while riding, or the poor ergonomics. I choose the Yosuda L-010 over some of the better known brands because it seemed like for the price, heavy duty build, heavy flywheel, belt drive and magnetic resistance seemed like a nice feature set. I ordered completely prepared to return if I didn't love it. Well, its early yet, but I love it! It came excellently packed without even minor box damage, which is unusual for an item this heavy and non-balanced in the box. Assembly was simple. They nicely provide an extra for each nut, washer, and fastener. If you have real wrenches on hand, save yourself some time and just use the real thing. The supplied wrench tools are probably adequate for someone who doesn't have the tools on-hand but are going to be tougher to really tighten well. The riding feel is excellent. The heavy flywheel and magnetic resistance make the ride very smooth. The magnetic resistance seems to be more than sufficient for both my current needs and my anticipated needs as my conditioning improves. The belt drive and magnetic resistance make this bike silent. Not just quiet, but silent. People in the same room would probably not know you were riding if they couldn't see you doing it. The frame is nice and heavy and solid, with both pin and pressure holding the seat post (no slipping from desired height setting). I wish the handlebar post had the same pin system, but it has not been an issue, and bears far less weight. If it ever moves I may drill some holes for pins. I use on a vinyl plank floor with a pad underneath. I might switch to only having the pad under the 4 contact points. I don't get any slippage on the floor, nor any movement or swaying on the bike. There are some bits that are not perfect, but I was expecting them and was most concerned with good riding mechanics. I see some comments about seat comfort and I'm not sure they are referring to this model. I found the seat to be reasonably comfortable (better than other cycles I have had or tried). It seems well made and I have had no slippage of the covering. Its too early to say how I'll feel about it after an extended time, but so far I am not tempted to replace it. The caged pedals are functional, but there are certainly better pedals out there if you care about that. They are standard sized and easy to upgrade. The water bottle clip doesn't seem like its going to last very long, but again it seems to be a standard mount and should be easy to replace/upgrade. The computer/monitor is very basic and as others have noted, hard to read in the wrong lighting. If you are hoping this bike will provide lots of useful data or advanced functionality from the monitor this cycle is probably not for you. I use while wearing a fitbit, and the total duration and keeping myself in the right heart-rate zones for fat burn or cardio is all I am really interested in. Some nice features to have, which this cycle does not, would be a reading to let you know how much resistance you have dialed in, or even better, automatic change of resistance linked to a heart rate monitor to keep you at a certain rate. I knew up front what to expect and for the money I was willing to trade off on the monitoring.

My first impression upon receiving the bike was that it was extremely well packed. Each part was individually wrapped and put in its own compartment (in some cases, with one other part) in the styrofoam. It was very easy to assemble. There was a blister pack with the bolts, tools, and other parts. Instructions were clear. It is not a Peloton, but costs about 1/5 as much. To me, it's a great value!Pros:- The bike is very solid and stable. I expected that since it's rated to support up to 330 pounds- The display shows RPMs! Most bikes in this price range do not.- I like the fact that the display shows several metrics at the same time, rather than just one at a time like many bikes in this price range do- The 40 lb flywheel makes for a very smooth ride- The bike is very quiet. A magnetic resistance bike would be a bit quieter, but not much. I can ride while my wife is sleeping in the next room, even with the door open- The iPad/phone holder is pretty cheap but is positioned well and does the job- The pedals are cheap with much more resistance than a good pair of pedals would have. But they rotate smoothly and, after all, it is an exercise bike so I don't mind a little more resistance there than I would want on a road bike. You could upgrade to spd pedals if you prefer that- I had a question when I first got the bike and the seller replied very quickly. It’s obvious that they put a high value on customer service- The bike is easy to move on the front rollers- my wife really likes the seatCons:- I don't like the seat. It's too soft and squishy for me and I definitely prefer a road type seat. But since my wife likes it, we're keeping it.- There was a clicking sound the 1st day but that went away after about an hour of riding.- The monitor has no backlight. But I purchased an inexpensive book light. It clips on the handlebars and I positioned it so that the monitor cable keeps it from rotating (see photos). Here’s a link to the lighthttps://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07X9Y6NS7/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1- The monitor alternated between RPM and speed. I would prefer to have those metrics in separate boxes so that I could see both at the same time. But it switches pretty quickly between the 2 so it's not a big dealAll in all, I am very pleased with the bike. A great value for the price! Highly recommended.
