I like that there are so many pieces so if you lose or break on or two you still have plenty left and you can pick the length most comfortable for you. They're a little tricky to work with since they're clear and the pieces are so small but it works as it's intended to and helps keep your piercing a little less obvious.

I wanted to test this because I have a Monroe piercing, and I'm concerned about the metal scraping against my teeth. This acrylic jewelry is flexible and much softer than the metal backs to my titanium posts. It's not bendy enough to cause problems though. It was easy to change out my posts.I know some people use these to hide their piercings for work and such. These bioflex studs come in a number of sizes, and I think they would work fine for that purpose.Update: These 16g posts don't fit my 16g earrings. Too big.
