I sent them back, but I actually may purchase them again because I was able to find something to have it leveled out.

Sturdy but not especially functional. I would've returned these for something else but missed the return window. These hold your curtain out so far from the window that you can forget blocking any light out and makes it difficult to have any furniture in front, unless you want it a foot out from the wall. Go with the ones that have the hook halfway on he bracket, not all the way out at the end.

These are great! Used with a curtain rod to hang plants. Haven't put a shelf on yet, not sure if I will but looks really nice!

Love these brackets, they’re very sturdy and will easily hold the weight of a rod and/or shelf. Also since they only extend 8 inches as opposed to the usual 10-12, it gives me extra walking room in my closet. The downside to this is that if you put a shelf directly in the bracket, it can only be 8 inches deep. However, our closet had floating shelves already installed above where these were going to be, so it wasn’t a problem. Just be aware if you’re planning to set the shelf in the bracket. Also the black is a very pretty almost cast iron type finish that would be great if you want an industrial or rustic look. My closet is white so I spray painted mine with Rustoleum’s glossy white spray paint. I think they turned out well!
