They got so hot they can burn whatever you have them up. They are useless even using a multimeter and staying at lowest recommended voltage and watts after a little bit it's so hot you can't touch it and as a experiment I tested one at lowest recommended voltage and watts and after a hour it melted and shorted out the other soon as I applied unrecommended watts it immediately started smoking and burnt up

Been powering my grandkids slot car track with one of these and a tool battery (Makita 14v 4 amp hour with a USB attachment) for months now. Works great because you can dial down the voltage for the youngest who don’t have the skill to slow down for the corners, and up for the larger cars and more experienced drivers. Also used it for powering various 5 - 12 volt fans (computer) and one is powering a couple Raspberry Pi’s (not sure what they’re doing). Also done some duty powering LED strips … overall a very useful piece of equipment

I just wanted to power some case fans for my desk. No problem. Very nice granular adjustment.I'll eventually use this in a bigger project. But I'll need to test it out a bit and see efficient it is before I seal it up somewhere.

This voltage source works well. There are a few things to know: If it cannot power up it can be due to powering a high startup item like a small dc motor or another device that has a switching power supply. Also, some USB wall adaptors cannot provide enough startup current. Try powering the device while slowly increasing the the output voltage. If it starts, it was probably due to current limiting during startup. Again, nice device fun to use and has built in volt meter.
