These rubber covers fit nicely on zerk fittings. I put them on the drive shaft U-joint zerks on my rust bucket Tacoma about a month ago. They're still there holding strong. I wanted some rust and debris protection on those fittings, which also makes maintenance easier. I also put one on the steering head grease fitting on my Harley.The rubber seems decent, but only time will tell if they eventually become brittle. In that event these are cheap and easy enough to replace. Now I'm going to put these on everything I have with zerk fittings: mower, tiller, etc.

There the same like 20 years ago. Today on cars or other vehicules, they don:t put this capsé and it;s it;s good for garage, because the salt and other things it¨s easeayer to go inside and breakdown shortleay. It;s very good for your dealer and you, If you like to pay for a rediculuse cap. Now the cars cie they don;t put this part on your brake bleather and they told me it;s discountined. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ for garages.
