Great quality. Very functional and easy to use. The multiple sizes of the product is a great bonus. Would definitely purchase again though the quality is good so I am sure they will last for a while.

I have owned a screen printing shop for over a decade and a half so I picked these up mainly out of curiosity. I have every scoop coater style known on the planet earth, it seems like LOL. These are nice for the target market (which seems to be the hobbyist). They ARE, in fact, dual edge coaters which blew my mind for the price point, so that is a definite bonus surprise. Thin edged on one side for fine coating and thick edged on the other to lay down a little more emulsion so this coater set will work well for 2/1 and 2/2 screen coating applications.The aluminum seems on par with much more expensive standard coaters. It's well shaped and machined without burrs or warps. The endcaps are where I ding it a star. They are cheap hard plastic. It won't take too many disassemblies for cleaning before they snap or crack and start having leakage issues. I generally avoid hard plastic end caps in favor of softer plastic that can give a little when being taken on and off repeatedly for cleaning. Also... 3 end caps... why 3?I understand 2 if you want me to swap them back and forth between the 3 coaters included in this set, but 3? I mean, the caps are so CHEAP to manufacture? Why not 6 so I have caps for all 3 coaters? Yeah... having to share end caps is for sure going to cost you a star here.Shipping time was LOOONG... so don't order these if you need them within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Not nearly as bad as the screens I ordered the same day but still aren't here... so I guess it could be worse?If you don't mind waiting and you can deal with the crappy end caps and the lack thereof.... these will fit your bill.

I use this to coat emulsion on the silk screen. It is a simple construction and works perfectly well to do an even coat of emulsion. It's very easy to clean and it pretty much nestles itself to each other so it doesn't take that much storage space.

What I love: these are well made aluminum emulsion scoops: They have a good quality edge, are thick enough to not bend, they have grooves to grip and pull the emulsion onto the silk screen.What I don't love: They only come with 2 green end caps - so if you have multiple size or are doing more than one screen print or have a few folks doing at the same time - you cannot use the 3 scoops at once. Which is a bummer. The photo is a bit misleading as it shows the green end caps on all three size emulsion scoops.4/5 stars due to the confusing photo - overall nice product.
