Worked great with a little modification. There is a red lock tab on the female side that was making it difficult to separate the two half's. Used a small pick and removed it, works soooo much easier now. With the pins, do yourself a favor and buy a crimper, it will work sooooo much better. I purchased this to make a quick release harness for the speakers on my Harley tour pack, this way it's quick and easy to take the tour pack off.
