Ich hatte mir zunächst den Shotgun Kindersitz ohne die Griffe gekauft und um es vorneweg zu sagen, es lässt sich auch gut Ohne fahren. Der/Die Kleine kann sich problemlos am Fahrradgriff festhalten ohne zu stören.Ich habe mich dann allerdings doch dazu entschieden, diesen Griff zu kaufen und bin der Meinung, dass es fürs Kind noch etwas angenehmer ist.Die Montage ist kinderleicht, man sollte jedoch darauf achten, keine Lampe, GPS oder Sonstiges mittig des Fahrradgriffs montiert zu haben, sonst könnte es eng werden, den Griff anzubringen.Wenn man sich für den Shotgun Kindersitz entscheidet, gehört dieses Accessoire aufjeden fall mit dazu. Klare Kaufempfehlung

I reached out to the company because the circumference of the handlebar clips were bigger than my bikes. They reached out immediately and told me other customers have used double sided tape to meet up the circumference of their product. Tried it and now it fits perfect. My little guy loves riding with me and he loves having his own handles!

I bought this for my 3 year old daughter so we can do trails and bike parks together. I also do the nursery run on it when the sun is out. She's a massive fan and gets absurdly excited when she realizes it's a bike day. She gets a front row seat to the fun, and is learning what it feels like to handle a bike. So much better than a rear seat. You can also lightly steer the bike with the shotgun handlebars if you want to teach them a bit about steering. They are pretty expensive and there are definitely cheaper options, but there are two main reasons to get a shotgun. Reason 1 is if you have a wide framed E-bike that maybe has a centrally mounted computer unit, you won't be able to use 99% of the other handlebars / seats on the market. This thing is just flexible enough to fit on both my bikes without any micro adjustments to the fittings, including an e-bike with a really big computer unit mounted in the middle of the handle bars. Reason 2 is the convenience of the fittings. I can switch both the handle bars and seat to my other bike in under a minute easily and it achieves this while still feeling extremely secure. This is awesome if you are in a rush, want to take the shotgun off to do some solo riding or just don't want to spend 10 minutes before each use fitting / unfitting the thing from your bike.
