I like the telescoping rod, I can store it easily out of the way in my trunk. It's strong and actually a little longer than I expected, but still short enough for fishing around trees and bushes. It's about 5'6" long fully extended. Also it's a good rod for the price.

It’s definitely not the best quality. I used this for 3 summers catching many many fish but the guides started to fall apart after about a month. The inside of the top guide had the interior come out and would start to fray the line while reeling. Other guides started to slip and I had to super glue them to the original spot. Other than that the rod worked well was light and never had a structural problem

The rod is a bit stiff, but that's to be expected in a telescopic rod. When it arrived the ferrules were not glued in any way to the rod sections. I used the thick super glue at the joints and it works now. The piece that screws down to hold the reel on never completely tightens the reel down. It still moves a bit. Overall, well, I guess it's OK, but if this one gets old or breaks I'll get something else.
