They were really cute, but they do rip really easily when you assemble. I only put the ring on Saturn because it was so hard to get them to stick in the right place. They have been hanging up all school year, and they are still withstanding my high schoolers.

Ordered these for a space themed birthday party. The lanterns look great though take some time and careful attention to get all of them set up and hung. I was able to carefully take them back apart so they can be reused though the original packaging is a very tight fit when trying to get them stored. The planets with cardboard rings are a bit more difficult to get set just right so the rings stay together and stay on the planet. I wouldn't count on these staying together in an outdoor setting but they work ok indoors.

These were used for my child's glow in the dark galaxy themed birthday party. Granted they don't glow (they don't advertise that) but look at how awesome they stood out! Definitely a great addition to any space themed birthday! Easy to put together and very light weight. Highly recommend!
