This opener looks nice and performs well. Has some issues occasionally as I think the edge is too rounded to always do the job but overall it has opened my letters and I have few complaints :)

It works and seems very sturdy however, a little sharper edge would have sliced through envelopes much more easily especially when the envelopes are thick.At it is it takes a fair amount of effort.I would not buy this again

This is an honest and unbiased review for:BANCHELLE Letter Opener Envelope Slitter Envelope Opener Paper Knife with Pouch (Silver, 9.06 × 0.59 × 0.59 inches) (1 Piece)This is a real nice product. It has a nice balance in the hand and enough weight to let you know it's there. The blade is thin enough to easily do the job yet very sturdy.The tip is less than 1/8th of an inch so it can get into a small opening on a zealously sealed letter quite easily. The overall length is 9" and it comes with a nice felt pouch.The only down side I can say about this is that it is a fingerprint magnet. If that's a huge deal to you then don't buy this. With that said, if you love a tool that does its job fantastically and one that has a nice balance to it then DO BUY THIS, you will not regret it.I'm super happy with this letter opener and it will be my go-to for opening all of my letters from here on out. Its a HUGE improvement over plastic openers.
