This base is made of good heavy metal. I was surprised at how solid and heavy it felt. You will never need to buy a replacement. I think you may be able to run it over and it would survive (haven't and likely won't test that). Powder coated finish is also durrable. Micro SD slot holder on back seems like a good idea and use of area, but I don't find myself using them. The bottom has four little rubber feet which are nice for non-slip and non-scratch. I bought it for a ROG Ally X. The device fits in the base just fine and it also has rubber pads in the cradle to hold your device. Again this helps in both non-slip and non-scratch. Overall good design and easy to use.

Sturdy and pretty great product minus the quality control. As another reviewer said, it is off just slightly and requires some adjustment to get it to lay flat..

Everything about this stand is great, except for the fact that the base isn’t flat, so it wobbles. I’ve had to stick a few layers of tape under one of the feet to get it to sit flat, which is a little disappointing.

Literally works perfectly! The white they chose goes well with the asus rog design! Fits perfectly doesn't slide around at all. worth every penny. I am at a lost as to why asus gives us a cardboard stand? I hope they team up with these guys cause this stand fits the system so well imo!

Using it for my Steam Deck and it seems well built with thick aluminum and very strong.It has rubber pads in the cradle to prevent scratching at the bottom of your device and has some kind of pads on the bottom to prevent scratching whatever you are putting it on.Basically exactly what's on the tin here. It will probably last longer than whatever you're putting on it because of its strong aluminum build.
