I thought it would be more deep purple but it's more hot pink. But otherwise it's exactly as I expected in a kantha quilt. This will be great during the hot summer months

The colors are amazing. My camera does not do it justice. In the last picture the color looks plum but it's Tootsie Roll Pop purple. It is very thin however. But for me that's a plus because it will be easy to launder. I just bought another color and size for another room.

This thing is gorgeous!!!First off the smell someone mentioned? That’s what silk sometimes smells like. The good - it more than fits on my king size bed.Is it thin? Yes. 100% yes BUT- it’s PERFECT for a summer coverlet- I’m someone who has to be covered even in scorching heat- and this is going to be perfect. It reminds me of the crazy quilts of the late 19th century. The bad? It’s so pretty I now want one for every surface in the house ha!

It is beautiful! Arrived early. Put it on my bed and just sat there in awe. God bless the women that did all this intricate work.❤

The stock photo didn’t do it justice, this is the most incredible thing I’ve bought in years. I saw one reviewer mentioned loose threads, but that’s just the nature of kantha quilts; The threads don’t unravel and you can secure them better with a couple stitches if it bothers you. They are handmade but exceptional quality and shipped direct from India. I have a few other kantha quilts and this one was somehow the cheapest with the fewest loose threads AND the most beautiful fabric. The detailing is amazing too; embroidery, gold threading, jewel accents… I’m in love, and definitely planning to buy more as gifts.
