This easel is attractive yet understated, even with its gold finish. It took just a couple of minutes to assemble and stands well, though as tall as it is it's still vulnerable to falling over if bumped. The frame holders are over 2" deep, so it can hold a thick item. A little pricey, but you'll only need to buy this once.

I especially love the feet of this stand. The attention to detail turned an ordinary easel stand into something fabulous. I am an event planner and this looks better than anything I found at the local shops. It has a vintage air to it. This stand is surprisingly sturdy. At this price point, I have seen bare bones, no frills passing for luxury all because it is being sold as wedding decor. This is pretty fairly priced for the design, the weight capacity (I put a mega hefty whiteboard on this stand and it didn't budge.) It is too pretty to be saved for special occasion alone. Assembly took less than two minutes, which is perfect because that is the maximum output I have when attempting to assembly items. I did not even need to look at the instructions. There are a few different levels for the easel to support the board on this stand and all of them looked luxury. Like something you would find at a vintage, glam, or posh event.
