After trying 4 different stains and colors, this matches a Cherry wood floor perfectly. The problem with Cherry floors is the wood changes from a dark reddish tan to almost a blonde raw birch shade of wood color. By having this cover itself to make a darker mark on second application after the first dries, all the shades of cherry floors can be matched if not perfectly at least so closely that you need to know where to look to see a scratch is there.These do not fill indentations or cracks. If you need filler, use any stainable filler and then color it with this marker once dry. The marker looks darker on Minwax stainable wood filler than it does on wood, the filler really sucks up the color. I believe the other stainable fillers are not so porous and wouldn't drink up the color so much. I put shellac over the filler which then allowed the very light tinting to match the Cherry wood and that worked perfectly.Great value for money and color accuracy, strongly recommend these!

Absolutely did not work. We had some little chips and dents in our cabinets, which were white and our cabinets are dark gray. You could put 30 coats of this on and it still will not even get to the medium gray coverage that it shows on the packaging. Absolute waste of money we ended up using a sharpie and that worked beautifully

As long as you are patient and apply this lightly, building as you go, this covers nicely. Easy to use, easy to store and use later. A gray laminate floor got scratched during a recent move and this stick covers it well. Originally thought that the gradient would make this tough to repair, but as long as you read the directions and start light-handed, adding more on the planks that are darker until you achieve the tone you need. Also, give it time to dry, buff it, and stand back (if able) and look at it in different light (natural vs incandescent) to avoid over-applying - you can always add more if it needs to be darker. We'll see how this holds up over time and traffic and apply it again if need be when we move out. For now, it's looking good (since our scratch is in a visible area and not hidden/covered by furniture or rugs), but it's only been down for less than month, hence the 4 stars for durability.

This literally is useless. It did not make a mark on the scratches on my flooring.....works great on paper, can get a marker for a dollar!

El producto requiere que se apliquen las capas en espacio de tiempo porque como tal a la primera no funciona. El efecto es muy natural aunque si aplicas dos o tres veces no parece tener efecto... sugiero usarlo durante una semana para que seque y aplicar la capa para que se vaya tomando el tono deseado

I lost a wood screw cap from a piece of furniture and had to get a plain unfinished one to replace it. This pen coloured it perfectly to match the others and you can't tell it isn't original. Worked great for what I purchased it for.
