This is a six piece knife set with the addition of six guards. I like the look and feel of all of the knives and so far have had no issues with them.In terms of sharpness they are generally better than the more economical knife sets I have come across but certainly not premium quality. I personally like the ergonomic feel of the handles, I am not sure if these are dishwasher safe, so far no issues.I have noticed that the price has been reduced substantially which now has them in the economy bracket, so I now question the longevity of the set.As is, the set would make a good wedding/house warming present.

These knife sets are so nice the color is perfect and the quality is amazing I believe this is truly a great deal! I as exactly what I wanted and more! Very sharp so be careful!
