Bought in December 2024 and it's lasted 2 months. The jack got pushed back into the device and there is no way to unscrew the base from the plate to put it back in place.

I knew the reviews were talking about the light getting hot, so I only had it on for a few seconds when I needed it. Today I tried to turn it back on, but it wouldn’t. I took the wiring out of the casing to see if a wire got knocked out of place, only to almost burn myself on the recently unplugged circuit board (not the led board). I still have no idea what’s wrong, as no wires seem to be crossed or out of place. The LEDs flicker on for a moment before sputtering out again.

I like this product, i think its simple and does the trick for whatever youre using it for. HOWEVER! There arent a lot of outlets or usb plug adaptors that produce more than 5v. Im using an old old apple ipad wall charger with a usb outlet to power the uv lamp up. Other ones like the newer iphone which most of us probably are using or similar…will not power this up. Itll just flicker. I also plugged it directly to my wall receptical that has a usb output and it is A LOT brighter. I think the manufacturer should at least provide a compatible wall outlet along with this item. A lot of people might not know why its not powering up properly, and its just going to hurt your product reviews

Got this for an easy spot light when working on Black Light Art. It’s perfect for what I need. Easily fits in your hand or you can hang it from about if you need. I’m happy with my purchase.
