DO NOT BUY IT! I would give it 0 start. This looks terrible and nothing like the photo. The color is light brown instead of yellow, and it's so stiff that it sticks up in the air. Plus, it's huge! To make things worse, I can't change, return, or refund it. It’s not lightweight at all it is a double stiff layer! I look like a duck! I will call Amazon. Send photo up on request.

Used for my daughters masters degree commencement ceremony from GWU. the colors are for MPA. much cheaper than buying from the campus bookstore

Thought I got lucky finding this on Vine at a good time, but ended up storing this and using another. This is "Bachelor's quality". Pictures are slightly better than the actual product, just enough so that it's not a complete shame, but was definitely kind of a bummer.

This doctoral hood is nice looking and well made. I was pleasantly surprised that the material is heavier and nicer than I was expecting, and the colors are rich and well-rendered. The hood is long enough for me, even though I am well over 6 feet tall. Finding appropriate academic regalia is a pain, so I was pleased to discover this hood on Amazon, and if I only wear it 2 or 3 times, it will wind up being less expensive than if I had rented a hood for each occasion.
