And they look like a car amplifier…We had this beast! So my plans are I needed LEDs in my shop, you know the cool ones that people put on their cars and trucks??? exactlyLet’s face that you spend all kind of money because they’re 120 V, but you get better ones they’re 12… see where I’m going at now?? ha haSo it’s simple, I install my 12 V LED strips to my cabinets, these can even beat to the music, I know a bunch 120 V won’t do that…This adapter inverter makes it possible!! this opens so many doors, game changer.. and anything else cool I can say!!! BAZINGATHIS COMES WITH A PROVIDED GREAT LENGTH CORD ON 120 V SIDE, then an incredible length on the side! This is great for us being able to hide cables, but also manage them, wire or zip ties😊The robust build of the actual power plant, that has a futuristic look, but most importantly it’s profile, it doesn’t look bad if you couldn’t hide it.. actually I think it looks really cool!! angles, and all😊Mountable also!Very versatile, just like hooking things up 12 V when you have a cigarette lighter plug, and you don’t want that cigarette lighter plug exposed you cut it off and you tied onto a 12 V supply!I don’t recommend this, but you could do the same thing, meaning if some products don’t have 12 V cigarette lighter plug “ male end”, you could simply cut off the female end of this inverter, shot a few wires with some heat shrink, woot woot! you’re doneI 100% recommend this item! This is an incredible product!! I’ve always wanted one and now I have one, and it works incredibly well!!!I suggest the seller, they have a good product here! They really put some great thought into this, not just threw together some cheapie garbage! I’d be interested in what they’re thinking next, because I know it’s gonna be good!!Thank you for reading my real and honest review, truly appreciate it! Pro:Sturdy, with heavy duty cables and socket. With a 12V 15A rating, it should be able to power any appliance you can plug into a car cigarette lighter socket.Con:It's a bit bulky. The fan, while not really loud, is noticeable. I can hear it from another room.I got this transformer so I could charge a radio that was made to plug into a cigarette lighter, and it's definitely overkill for that purpose. It would be good for running a car dust buster, or a 12V powered cooler.

This is the perfect size to have on a desk for quick testing when a bench-top unit is overkill or you don’t want to move a project to the shop. It will obviously serve more use cases than that, but it’s the reason I wanted one.The first thing I noticed was now nice both the AC and DC cables were. That may sound odd, but the quality of a cable can tell a lot about the overall quality. Cables and wiring are easy areas to cut corners but these are flexible and supple.The cigarette lighter adapter receptacle is very nice and has a beefy feel to it.Plugging in the transformer illuminates the power indicator and turns on an internal cooling fan that lets you know it’s running (54.8dB at 21 inches).The only observation to share is the underside is hard plastic and does not have anything to absorb the slight vibration which, depending on the surface it rests upon, can increase the amount of noise generated. I added two rubber pads on the bottom to mitigate the issue 100%.A feature I would like to see added is an On/Off switch.Would I recommend this item to others? YesWould I buy it as a gift for someone else? YesHad I purchased this outright, would I have returned it? NoPersonal Vine Disclosure: I only review items I would or have actually purchased and used. This is a very high power 12v accessory adapter. It is rated at 15 amps, which means it can power just about any automotive accessory that you can throw at it. That's 180 watts of power, enough for multiple devices. It can easily handle a 12v mini refrigerator, and it is probably a great choice if you need to test an inverter before taking it on the road.It does have a small fan, but the noise level is very low and, combined with the ventilation slits in the sides of the housing, the fan keeps this adapter cool under load.There is an LED light to indicate power and the 12v accessory socket is robust and tight fitting so power plugs don't easily slide out.

I got this power 12V 15A power supply to use with my inflator for stand up paddleboards and other water toys. It's been working like a charm for this purpose, whereas my old 10A power supply was getting tripped.The only downside to power supply is that its fan is a bit loud, and placing it on a table causes it to vibrate and create a lot more noise. There are also no electrical safety certification marks (UL, ETL, CSA, TUV, etc). This doesn't really matter for my application, but I wouldn't recommend this as a power supply to leave plugged in for a prolonged period. Hope this helps!!
