This is not the largest solar street light we've installed, but it's certainly among the highest quality. The separate solar panel is a great feature. We replaced another solar street light over the garage with this unit and are quite pleased with the difference.Some solar panels located on the back of the light element tend to be much smaller and add weight to the lamp assembly at the end of the pole. Those type of solar panels are not at a good angle to capture the most sun during the daylight hours. In contrast, this larger panel aimed in the right direction makes a huge difference in the ability to charge the batteries effectively during the day. The result is a more robust battery charge and better performance through the night.This light casing is built better than others using die cast aluminum -- a far more durable material which lasts longer and performs better than cheap plastic in the outdoor environment.We leave this light on at 50% brightness, more than enough to illuminate the area outside the garage. On a day with at least four hours of sun, it does a great job of staying on through the night.Bravo. Good quality solar light. And a good value.

This is a super bright light. Long lasting battery life. And it works great.

Finally got the light installed and it is great! Solar powered so I can remove the wire lighting from the garage and save some money.

Zounds, this thing will blind you! Well, not actually, but it is very bright. We installed this on the "mother-in-law" house in my backyard where my wife's Mom lives, and we all feel safer now that she has some good lighting that stays on all night.This unit is very well made, with a cast-aluminum housing and a solar panel that can be moved towards the best position to receive the most sunlight.With a good charge , it will light up all night. In case we are overcast for more than a couple days, we also have a regular electric front porch light by heer door. But it's rare that she has to use it.We like this light, and recoomend it.

I got this for my backyard. It’s a big unit, especially with the solar panel. It provides great lighting but the size and weight made it a bit of a challenge for me to handle and install. I like the motion sensor setting. It also comes with a remote control.
