I have purchased several sets of these over time. They have decent bite and stopping power, but are a bit noisy and wear out more quickly than I expected. I also found that the springs were not quite perfect and tend to contact the rotors earlier than necessary for a wear warning, making noises. Consider carefully aligning the springs with the pad faces prior to installing in the rotors. Overall a decent product at a value price.

Believe it or not, these are better than the ones that came with my ebike!!The ones on my ebike lasted maybe a week before the stopping power was non-existent.Ive been on many rides with these, and they still stop as if they were brand new.Not as easy to replace as the old style brakes, but still a super simple remove and replace kind of install.

The Corki Cycles Brake Pads 4 Pairs for TRP Tektro Shimano Deore (resin) work as expected. They are quick to install and will stop you quickly when needed. I ride an E-bike, often at speeds exceeding 45Km/h and even going down a hill these pads have no issues bringing me to a quick stop. I replace my brake pads at least once a season, sometimes twice, these are an ideal choice, not only for the cost but also for the quality. Every brake will wear out, that is a given, but these ones will last many months with hard use before needing to be replaced. For the cost of about 6$ a pair, it is worth buying these to have on hand for when you will need them. Just be mindful of what style you get, as some brake routers are not able to handle the pure metal ones (Copper/Semi metal) My bike originally came with resin pads, so I continue to use that style. Install of these took about 3 minutes, simply remove your brake caliper, unscrew the bolt that holds the old brake pads in place, insert the new pads, I do not use the spacer, but to get the brakes set perfect it is easy. Once you have the new pads installed, simply reattach your brake caliper to the frame, but before you tighten it down, compress the brakes as hard as you can, this will force the pads to grip the router, which in turn will line up the bolts on the caliper perfectly to where they should be. Simply tighten the bolts when the brake is compressed, once tight, you can let go of the brake and they will be perfect each time. If you happen to experience any squeal from the pads, it could be that they have some minor glazing on them, it happens when you "ride the brake" say while going downhill. To remedy this, you can come to a hard stop which often will reservice the pads, if this fails you can remove the pads and on a flat surface with some sandpaper you can lap the pad to remove the glaze, just make sure you keep the pad flat as you do not want high/low spots. Although I rarely have had to do this, it can happen and often you have a lot of the brake pad left, so this will help you get all you can out of the pads. For the price though I am sure many will simply replace them as needed. Overall, you cannot go wrong with these pads, they work well, last a long time, and are simple to install.

I've been using Corki's brake pads on my son's e-bikes for some time and I've been very satisfied with the performance of the copper based pads on these heavier bikes. My kids do seem to prefer these to the bi-metal ones we have also tried in the past. I'm using the tektro model and they have shown good wear patterns and have resisted contamination (road grease, rain, etc) better than organic pads I've used in the past. They might be a little more prone to squealing when wet but I think the performance is well worth it when it counts (i.e., trying to slow that 90lb bike from 20 miles an hour). Value is unmatched as I can get 2 pairs of these for less than the cost of 1 pair of name brands. Strongly recommended!
