Given the proliferation of in-home water filtration systems and their incumbent requirements, including our own RO, refrigerator, and ice-maker appliances, we have dealt with more than a few poly-cutting tasks requiring a clean cut of multiple water-supplying poly line sizes, a task with which this little cutter has executed with virtual perfection.For starters, we have already used this inexpensive cutter with great success on poly lines ranging from 1/4" to 5/8", all of which resulted in clean and burr-free cuts, which was not at all the case when we attempted to use either a sharp knife or a set of diagonal cutters (otherwise known as dykes).All in all, given the superb performance of this stupidly low-priced product, it rates an easy, albeit rare, five-star rating from us, particularly in light of its very low price point of $5.99 less any available discounts and/or coupons.
