At 40", this bag is quite large. It easily holds my 6 person croquet set and all the accessories. In fact, I feel that it is actually too large. Additionally, it is just one big compartment - no additional pockets or anything else, so all the mallets and balls were just flying inside. Because the fit was so poor, I actually ended up reusing this bag for the archery set for my kids (3 42" bows + a couple of smaller bows + arrows and practice targets). It actually ended up working much better for that purpose. The bag itself is made quite well with zipper working smoothly and seamlessly and stitching done well too.

Back in the day (mid-90's) I chaired a committee that developed games, sports, tastings, etc. for a week-long festival. My favorite was a two-day wine tasting! But my most difficult challenge was convincing the committee that croquet would be an attractive addition. And not just a child's game. I bought a sort of semi-pro Forster set with a sturdy carrying bag, After spending too many seasons in my attic the carrying bag disintegrated! Then, fortunately, this bag became available on Amazon and I quickly ordered it! There's not much one can say about a croquet bag! It's well-sewn, made of very sturdy fabric and it's roomy enough for a six-player set with balls, stakes, wickets and a rule book. The six mallets make up the tight fit but it's all there in one package. It looks neat, it's convenient, priced right, has a strong carrying handle and, hopefully, will last! It satisfies all the needed features and earns a five-star review. And I won't leave it in my attic!
