This is a well made, heavy ceramic product with no sharp edges, which is wide and shallow, excellent for cats. It doesn’t slide around during use. I do clean it by hand to ensure food is removed properly, but it can go in a dishwasher.The dish was reduced in price when I bought it and was reasonable value.I love the pastel colour. My cat doesn’t care about that.Bought for to contain wet food for a very greedy cat and so far it’s been effective.However, nothing will slow my cat’s eating speed to where it should be; this is a behavioural challenge. He is convinced that another feline will eat all his meals, despite being the sole cat at home. There are no miracle cures to this behaviour, but the dish certainly helps!

Super gamelles ! Avant, mes chats mangeaient trop vite et puis vomissaient tout. Depuis que j'ai acheté ces gamelles anti-glouton, cela n'arrive plus. Je suis ravie.Mes chats refusent de manger dans certaines gamelles qui ont des odeurs fortes (métal, plastique...). Celles-ci sont en céramique. Elles n'ont pas d'odeur répulsive pour les chats, qui acceptent sans problème de manger dedans.C'est aussi parce qu'elles ont des rebords très bas, ce qui fait que les chats peuvent manger dedans sans que leur moustaches ne se cognent aux bords de la gamelle.En plus elles sont faciles à laver.

I bought these bowls for my two cats who eat very quickly and then often can’t keep their food down. These bowls definitely ensure they eat slowly and their tummies are happy for it. They are machine washable and BPA free given that they not plastic. Very pleased with this purchase

I had the plastic version of this dish so decided to upgrade since plastic can give cats acne and this could go in the dishwasher. The quality is good, nice and heavy. I don't feel like it will chip easily and it will definitely slow him down. Only down side is that the plastic version the contours of the bowl look like fish and it's really cute. I guess they couldn't or didn't want to take the time to do that with the ceramic version. I assumed the contours were fish as well but on receiving the bowl they look like pickles! Not that the cat cares so it still works fine. Just not as cute as the plastic version. Will keep it bc it is nice and sturdy and love that I can throw it in the dishwasher!
